Interdisciplinary art project carried out by tutors and students of the Faculty of Arts at the Pedagogical University in Krakow and Hamidrasha Faculty of Arts at Beit Berl College in Tel Awiw.
The TANGENTS project has been inspired and refers to the history of the former School of Crafts in the Kazimierz district, which was located at the present seat of the Faculty of Arts at No. 3, Podbrzezie Street and the seat of Beit Berl College, which was used as a school for agriculture.
The history of the school was obliterated by the events of the Second World War – the liquidation of the institution by the Nazis and the systematic erasing of the memory of the Jewish history of that place. The commonly unknown historical baggage of the facility is the inspiration for artistic exploration of the subjects of memory and its paradoxes.
